When you open DealerNet, click on Pricing & Ordering selection. A box will pop up that reads ‘Checking for Maintenance Updates’. As long as your computer is connected to the internet, your updates will automatically download.
After your maintenance updates download, a Job Selection screen will appear. At the top of the screen there is a button labeled ‘Create New Job’. Click on this button. When prompted, name the job and click on the ‘OK’ button.
This is the first screen you will see after you create a new job.
Choose Customer Account # (an account should have been created the first time you opened DealerNet).
Choose your Ship To location (if you choose Job Site, make sure to fill in complete address).
Type a PO (if your company does not
require a PO, you can type in “Kitchen”, “
The job name will already be filled in.
Type the Designer Name in. Please type the name (not initials) of the person that will be answering questions and approving the acknowledgment so Signature knows who to contact. If there is more than one contact, type each name (example: Jim/Joe/Mary).
When you finish typing the Customer Information, click on Header. This is where you will fill in all of the job information (finish, door style, etc.).
Fill in all required fields (fields typed in red). You will not be able to save the header without filling in all of these fields.
When the header screen first opens, click on the button at the bottom left of the header page called ‘Copy from another job’. Note: you will be able to make changes
As you make selections, DealerNet will filter out other selections that are not available (example: If you choose Custom Frameless Plywood cabinet line you will not be able to choose Flush Inset as the overlay). If an item you want to choose does not show up as a choice, you will either need to change one of your previous selections or make another choice (example: if you want Flush Inset overlay you will need to go back to the Cabinet Line and choose either Custom Framed or Select Framed).
If you are using an Artistic Finish on your order (anything with minimal rub thru, rub thru, worn or a paint with a glaze) please remember to type your approved sample door number in when prompted or choose the Quick Ship Sample option.
This can be used when you want to use a certain accessory/modification on every cabinet of a certain type (example: Blumotion on all cabinets with drawers). You can select the option in the list and automatically have that accessory pop up on each of the cabinets it pertains to. This option can be chosen at any stage of entering the job and the option will appear on all cabinets it pertains to. Also, if you decide you no longer want this option and remove it from the job options, it will automatically remove it from every item.
Hold doors short at top/bottom
If the door overlay selected on the header is FO or EFO, upon saving the header a box will pop up called ‘Ordering/Parts Sizing Information’. On this box you can specify if you want the cabinet doors held short at the top or bottom. This will be added to all cabinets unless you specify on a particular cabinet the modification called ‘Do Not Hold Doors Short at Top (or Bottom)’.
Whenever you make a change to the header, upon saving the header a box will pop up called ‘Changes Made’. If you press yes, your order will automatically get re-totaled to capture any change you made that may affect the total cost of the order. If you press no, your job will not re-total.
From here you can add cabinets, loose accessories, quotes & combination cabinets to your order. You can also duplicate items & delete items & edit items already entered.
When you click on this button you can add any cabinet code mentioned in our product guide by typing in the code for the cabinet (example: B12). When you enter the code, the width, height & depth fields will automatically fill in. These fields can be changed as necessary.
If you are not sure what the code is for the cabinet you want to type, you can click on one of the cabinet types & browse through the cabinet codes & pictures associated with that particular cabinet type.

This will automatically be filled in when the cabinet code is typed. In this field you can change the width as necessary. Note: If you need a larger width cabinet & there is a standard cabinet code with a larger width, enter the larger width & decrease the width (this will be less costly for you). If you increase the width, the Increased Cabinet Width modification box will automatically pop up for you to fill out.
This will automatically be filled in when the cabinet code is typed. In this field you can change the height as necessary. Note: If you need a larger height cabinet & there is a standard cabinet code with a larger height with the same layout, enter the larger height cabinet & decrease the height (this will be less costly for you). This will automatically be filled in when the cabinet code is typed. In this field you can change the depth as necessary. Note: If you need a larger depth cabinet & there is a standard cabinet code with a larger depth with the same layout, enter the larger depth cabinet & decrease the depth (this will be less costly for you). If you increase the depth, the Increased Cabinet Depth modification box will automatically pop up for you to fill out.
This will give you a list of choices of how your cabinet can be hinged. If your cabinet has doors please be sure to choose a hinging selection from this list. If you need a different selection due to a special cabinet, please note in the special instructions box.
Check this box if you are sending a sketch of this particular cabinet along with your order.
Check this box if you are using a cabinet that is standard with butt doors but would like to change it to have only 1 door. If there is a standard cabinet code with only 1 door in the size you are looking for, please select that code instead of the butt door code.
This modification was added to the main cabinet page for convenience reasons only since there are many times all you need to add to a cabinet is a finished end. You can also select this from the modification list.
When you click on this button you can add any loose accessory mentioned in our product guide by typing in the name of the accessory (example: Finished Plywood).
If you are not sure what the name is for the accessory you want to type, you can type what you think it may be & the closest choices will come up for you. If you do not see what you are looking for by using this method, please refer to the accessory section of our product guide.
If you need to duplicate a cabinet or accessory that was previously entered, click on the item you want to duplicate & then click the ‘Duplicate Line Item’ button. This will create a new item for you at the end of the order.
If you want to move your duplicated item up in the list of items, click on the “thumb tack” button beside the item # and hold it down. Drag the item up to the spot where you want it placed. All items will be renumbered after you move an item ahead of them.
If you need to delete a cabinet or accessory that was previously entered, click on the item you want to delete & then click the ‘Delete Line Item’ button. This will delete that item & renumber all items that were after the deleted item.
If you want to add a space holder for a deleted item, you can click on Add Loose Accessory & choose ‘Item Omitted’ from the accessory list. This item will be added to the end of the list of items you entered. If you click the “thumb tack” button beside the item # for the ‘Item Omitted’ and hold it down, you can drag the item up to the spot where you deleted the item. After that item is moved, all items will again renumber.
This option is available with the Custom Framed cabinet line (not frameless or Custom Select Framed). When you click on this option, you can add up to 4 cabinet codes to combine (up to 84” wide maximum). You can alter the width of each cabinet as necessary in the ‘Width’ field beside each cabinet code entered. Only the same height & depth cabinets can be combined.
This should be used when you get an item quoted from Signature when you are not sure how to price something special.
This number will be written or typed on the quote form that comes back to you from Signature. It will always be an 11 digit #.

These boxes should be filled in if there are doors, drawers or false panels included on this cabinet that are not included in the list price quote to you. If you fill in any of these boxes, the upcharges will automatically be added to the order when you total the job.
This button should be used if you need to make a change to any item already entered. Click on the item you need to edit & then click the ‘Edit Line Item’ button. You can add or delete anything necessary when your item opens.
This button will exit from the Job Detail Listing screen & take you back to the Job Customer Information Screen.
When you click on this button all line item prices & upcharges for specie, finish, doors, etc. will be added up to give you a cost.
This is the combined cost of all of the line item prices listed in the Job Detail.
This will add upcharges for the doors, drawers, panels, etc. based on the overlay you selected on the header & the # of doors, drawers, panels, etc. on each line item in the Job Detail.

These upcharges are all a percentage of the subtotal. The percentage will be listed beside the cost for each item.

This will include any items that were typed on the order that are no longer valid. This report will also pop up when you total or transfer a job to let you know an item is no longer valid.
This button lets you scroll to the previous job # without going back to your list of jobs & selecting it.

This button allows you to delete the job you currently have open. Please be careful when using this since you will not be able to retrieve the data in the job without restoring a backed up copy of DealerNet.
This button allows you to copy another job’s detail instead of re-entering the information.
This button will take you back to the entire list of orders saved on your DealerNet.
This should be opened the first time you enter DealerNet to add your dealership information.
To add your dealership information:
- Click on ADD
- Fill in Customer Account Number (this should be given to you by your account manager or the accounting department upon approval of your dealership – it will always be 1 letter followed by 3 numbers – for example: Y001)
- Fill in Organization (this should be your dealership name)
- Fill in address, city, state, zip
- Fill in phone & fax #
- Fill in freight percentage (this should be given to you by your account manager or our accounting department)
- Fill in tax (if you are located in PA & are not tax exempt this should be filled in – if you are unsure, please contact your account manager or our accounting department)
- Multiplier is automatically filled in. If this changes at any time, you will be notified.
For the most part you will not need to access this screen unless you are having technical difficulties & are instructed to do so by someone at Signature. Your account manager will access this screen when first setting up DealerNet & the IP setup so you can connect to Signature for updates & e-transfer.
Back up will automatically prompt you once per day to back up. If you feel you need to back up more often, you can do so manually here. You will be walked through the back up process when you click on this selection.
This will restore your data files from your most recent back up. Please be careful when using this as it will erase anything you entered or changed since you last backed up.
When you click on this item, a list of all of your jobs appears. You will need to click on the one you want to export & click on the Select button. You will then be prompted to select the drive you want to export the job to. This is very handy if you want to work on an order from a different computer.
This is used to import a previously exported job to a different computer. You will be prompted to select where the job is you want to import. You will only be able to import jobs that were exported using the same version of DealerNet as is on the computer you are importing too.
- When you click on this you will be asked your customer account number (this should be given to you by your account manager or the accounting department upon approval of your dealership – it will always be 1 letter followed by 3 numbers – for example: Y001). Type in the number & click on OK.
- A list of all of your current jobs/makeafters & recently shipped jobs/makeafters will appear.
- If you click on a job, the box to the right will show you the status of your job & shipping information.
- By using the button at the bottom left you can show all jobs or only jobs in process.
- You can print out a list of your jobs by clicking the Print button
- When you are finished, click OK.
This will show you a summary of your account financially. Please contact the accounting department for any discrepancies or questions.

All items in this menu are for use by our account managers to access information on your account while they are away from the factory. This information is not available to individual dealerships.
This menu selection will show you what version of DealerNet you currently have installed. If you are having problems with DealerNet we may ask you to access this menu for your DealerNet version information.

By clicking this you will get our most up-to-date list of Signature Associates & the area they cover. If you click on one of the e-mail address a new e-mail will open up for you to e-mail a question to that particular person.
You will see this button on quite a few screens while navigating through DealerNet.
A makeafter is any piece (except cabinets) that need to be ordered after a job has already been processed and/or shipped. To add a makeafter to an order:
Click on the job you want to add a makeafter to
Click the Add new Makeafter button
Fill in the Makeafter Reason Confirmation box
Type a name for the makeafter
Change or fill in job customer information as necessary
Fill in header & detail as explained in ‘Header Information’ & ‘Detail’
Add New Makeafter (when original job
is on a different computer)
Click on Create New Job
Fill in Job Name
When ‘Job Customer Information’ Screen comes up, click on ‘Return to Job Selection’ button

Panels
Page D3 & D4 of our product guide give more specifications about refrigerator/freezer panels. We currently have 3 different standard panels.
From this form you can enter Refrigerator/Freezer, Refrigerator Grille, Dishwasher & Trash Compactor panels that are doors applied to ¼” plywood. You must specify margins around door.
Appliance Panel for SubZero 600 Series
From this form you can enter Refrigerator/Freezer & Refrigerator Grille panels that are doors applied to 1/8” spacer & ¼” backer material.
Appliance Panel for SubZero 685/695
These panels have set sizes for the 685 & 695. The Refrigerator panels are a wainscot panel applied to 1/8” spacer & ¼” backer. There is a cutout in 1 opening of the wainscot per the specs for this panel. The freezer panel is a 2 panel high wainscot applied to 1/8” spacer & ¼” backer.

frame & non-working door/drawer
There are 2 layouts for these panels.
This is entered as a B23.75 34.25 face frame & drawer/door only. When the toe area is omitted the final size comes out to 23.75” wide x 30.25” high.
Non-working door
This is entered as a FHB23.75 34.25 face frame & door only. When the toe area is omitted the final size comes out to 23.75” wide & 30.25” high.
Each time a job is totaled, printed or e-transferred the order validation will run. If there is an item on your order that is not a valid option, you will receive an order validation report.
This report usually shows up when switching cabinet lines or overlays or wood species on the order. The report also shows up many times when changing pricing periods. It will tell you what is no longer available so it can be removed from the order and ,if necessary, something else can be entered in its place.
If you receive an error message while using DealerNet and are not sure how to proceed, contact customer service & let them know the exact wording of the error message. This can be done either by verbal communication or creating a screen capture of the error message and either faxing or e-mailing it to customer service.
Replacement Doors (Warped, Re-order
doors)
Replacement doors can be ordered by clicking on ‘Add Loose Accessory’ and choosing the Loose Door accessory.
